Madison Ave

Initially when I began this site I intended to address the negative side associated with being a small town lesbian or a gay or lesbian person anywhere.

Of course, because I am a woman it is only possible to comment from my feminine perspective. Though I have had many interactions and friends in the men's realm.
Overall their experience is quite different than mine.
Except we all share the same dangers and risks and lack of protection because we all live outside the parameters of society at large.

Initially when I came out, I was approached by a woman in a club and told,
"Lesbianism isn't women being all nicey-nice to each other you know."

Was she ever right.

we don't get to choose always.
sometimes life dictates.
choose your partner wisely.
society can't and won't help you on the outside parameters
